Currently is the Vice President of Manufacturing for FreshDirect.

As Vice President of Manufacturing, Michael honed his people management and process building skills. He was in charge of of all internal food manufacturing and designing the 120,00 square foot space housing a Kitchen, Bakery, Value-Added Protein and Cut Fruit & Vegetable production as well as just-in-time Deli, Meat & Seafood cutting areas, which represents 25% of the space in the flagship facility generating $140 Million annually in revenue.
Michael worked his way up into a highly sought after apprentice position in one of Germany’s top 10 Hotels. This is where his passion for food and outstanding service was born. His formative years in 5-star hotels and multiple Michelin-starred restaurants made flexibility, impeccable quality and attention to detail synonymous with all he does.
